Welcome to the Virtual Newsroom for FETC 2009! This site is designed to give members of the media access to up-to-date information necessary for covering the upcoming conference.

In this press area, you will find general information about FETC 2009, including a contact list, FETC Fact Sheet, news releases, conference graphics and more. Media representatives who wish to attend are encouraged to register for their press credentials as soon as possible. Access to conference activities is only available to registered media wearing official, FETC-issued identification badges.

Please note that the Opening Session will begin at 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, January 22, and the grand opening of the Exhibit Hall will be immediately following. With so many exhibits, sessions and workshops to experience, it is advantageous to schedule your time in advance. The complete conference schedule is available at www.fetc.org/programsched.aspx. FETC is pleased to maintain a working Press Room on-site to provide an easily accessible, centrally located place where registered media can receive information, conduct interviews, file stories or just relax. This year the Press Room will offer only wireless Internet access, so please be sure to have an active wireless card for your laptop computer.

The website will be updated frequently as the conference approaches. The list of registered press will be available after January 5, 2009. Make sure to visit the Virtual Newsroom regularly for the latest developments on FETC 2009.
